    Week 20

Twenty weeks. Lucy finally had her 4 month doctor's appointment earlier this week. Our pediatrician is very popular and sometimes it is tough to get in to see her when you want or need to. She weighs in at 11 lbs, 14 oz (10th percentile) and is measuring at 24 inches (18th percentile). She's small, but proportionate and that's all that matters. She had a couple of shots and an oral vaccine, but did well with them and didn't have any kind of reaction. It was a great appointment.

Since we're at a nice even week count, here is a look back at our weekly photo project from the past 20 weeks:

    Jellyfish

The kids and I had a little adventure on Wednesday. Part of our adventure was exploring the underwater creatures at the "Sea Life Aquarium" at the Mall of America. The jellyfish were amazing and so very calming to watch. I'm still working on my photography skills and my understanding of the features on my camera. The photos aren't perfect, but I think they're pretty cool.

    Week 19

It is really hard to believe that Lucy is 19 weeks old! She is so vocal lately, it is hilarious. She talks, yells and makes all kinds of wonderful baby noises. Her relationship with Benjamin is growing everyday. He loves to make her smile and laugh. She loves to watch him whenever he is near her. Lucy is really doing well with her tummy time. She kicks her legs and tries to flip herself over, but just can't seem to get up the momentum. I know she can do it, she's done it before, but she needs more practice. Her hands and fingers are always in her mouth in one way or another. Sometimes it is her entire fist and other times just a finger:

    Loves those fingers!

Benjamin and his TC Kids Marathon medal

Mike took Benjamin up to Minneapolis to run a 1/2 mile and relay races at the Twin Cities Marathon Indoor Kids Fun Run on Saturday. Benjamin received a really fancy medal, stocking hat and scarf for his efforts. Uncle Dan, Uncle Andy, Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Bert came out to see Benjamin run for the very first time. He had a great time!

We were back up in the Twin Cities on Sunday for the REALLY BIG game. Our beloved Green Bay Packers pulled out a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, their first Super Bowl win in 14 years. Grandpa Bert was proud to have his little Packer fan grandkids there to help cheer his team onto victory. Everyone was decked out in a sea green and gold. Lucy sported Benjamin's old Packers onesie for the occasion and Auntie Katie brought along some leftover Packers fabric for Lucy's Week 18 photo:
