This area of Minnesota was hit with our first snowstorm of the year on Saturday. And because people here are absolutely crazy, thousands of runners took the the trail around Lake Harriet in Minneapolis to run the Reindeer Run 5k. Among those crazies were myself, Mike, Jennifer, Katie and Dan. It was truly very cold, but we stuck it out and finished the race anyway and had a great time doing it! Pictures from the race are available on flickr and a video taken at the start line is available below. You can really see how many people there were in both the pictures and video. We were at the front, but it took somewhere around 6-7 minutes for all of the runners to cross the start line.
